Buggy bag or can I take the pushchair to the gate?

Does anyone know the answer to this? We are flyin from Bham to Dublin and then onto Orlando.

It's a biggish double buggy (out n about nipper 360).

I've seen a bag for it being sold second hand and just wondering if I should buy it or whether, if the pushchair is going to the gate, we will actually need the bag.

Thank you x

We always took buggy to gate then put it in a buggy bag as they just get thrown into the hold then.

Thank you! If we put it in a bag at the gate, I assume at the other end it comes out as luggage on the carousels?

Yes if you take it to the gate you will get it back after immigration where you get your luggage. We didn't bother only because we took and old sturdy one that was unlikely to get damaged but otherwise yes you could pop it in a stroller bag at the gate to keep it safe.
