Disney Magic European cruise

Hi

After just coming back from Florida we are thinking about next summer and wondering about the magic cruise from Barcelona.

Sorry for all the questions...
We've done the dream 3 day one. How different is the magic to the dream?

Is there plenty to do on onboard?

Are the excursions worth doing? We want to do the Rome visit but is it suitable for 8 yr olds? Are the excursions expensive?

We just got back from this cruise on Saturday and loved it! It's our first Disney cruise so can't compare to the dream but we have been with NCL and Royal Caribbean and we all preferred the magic even though it was the smallest ship we have been on it seemed much better laid out and so much to do we were never bored!
We didn't go to Rome this time as we have been on previous cruises by we always get the train in and go sightseeing by ourselves, much cheaper than any excursion. My son was 8 on our first cruise and we took him to Rome, Athens, Ephesus and Pompeii and he had an absolute blast!

Can't answer but we are booked on the 9 Sep Med cruise! It will be our first ever.

Have been watching Phil Emma & Ben's videos from their Med cruise in 2010 when Ben was 8 - have a look on YouTube.

Lots of Dibbers on this year's cruise so there will be trip reports coming!
