how much deposit?

hi, we are going on the dream for 4 nights in december, and we are thinking of maybe rebooking for next year whilst on there, can someone tell us roughly how much we would need to save to book this for just 2 adults in a verandah room?

Cant you book a placeholder for $200?

Guests sailing on a Disney Cruise Line Ship can take advantage of the onboard offer without selecting an actual sailing date. The deposit for the placeholder date is $200 per stateroom.

This new placeholder process allows Guests to book the onboard offer without booking a reservation for a specific sail date. The confirmation will include a confirmation number, but will not display details such as ship name, sail date or category.

When you redeem your placeholder, you pay any additional deposit on top of your placeholder deposit. Deposits on board are half what they are on land.

If you book a placeholder (a non dated cruise for future), it's $250 per cabin.

If you book a 6 night or less dated cruise, your deposit will be 20% of the total cruise cost. If you book a dated cruise that's 7 nights or longer, it's a 10% deposit.

Each cruise will have it's own price, it's not really an average I'm afraid. Go to the website and play around with some dates so you can see the different costs.

Only if you book a cruise of 7 nights or more.
The 'extra' deposit is to top up your $250 placeholder deposit to either the 10% or 20% level of new deposit.
