I'm a cheese board person as well but even that is a rarity for me.
We don't have the DDP but the desserts are what would tip the balance for me as I don't want them.

Now appetisers are another matter

They will offer you fruit for desert if you ask which I always do. This is little advertised but an accepted request as part of the plan. I have often asked if I can substitute desert for a cup of tea and they tend to say yes but look confused!

If appetisers were included we'd probably stay on site again (with free DDP)
We're not pudding people really. We usually ordered appetisers at our TS meals and by the time we'd added wine it didn't really stack up for us

Back in the day (when the exchange rate was 1.9 😍 ) the regular DDP included appetiser, main, desert and tip. Ah. The good old days! Way too much food but I really like me an appetiser.
