Mobile ADR Day Yesterday - Tips for firstimers

Hi, I booked all of my ADR's yesterday and got everything I wanted at all of the times I wanted..beyond excited!

Being a first timer myself I just wanted to share a few tips with any other newbies.

Before your ADR date:
Enter some credit card details onto MDE
Make sure you have a phone number entered on MDE
Put the restaurants you want to book into your 'wish list' (then you can book them from there rather than searching for them on the ADR day.

On ADR day:
Choose the time you want to book from the drop down list rather than Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (I choose Breakfast for CRT and the earliest option it gave me was 8:50, then I choose 8:00 and it gave me 7:55, 8:15 & 8:30)
It's easy to change booking time, I booked a restaurant for 8:30 then wanted 8:00, i went to book the new time of 8:00 and a warning comes up saying you already have a booking at 8:30 do you want to cancel this? You go through the process of cancelling and re booking. It doesn't cancel the original booking until the new one is confirmed so no risk of losing anything.

Hope this info helps at least someone.
Don't know what to do with my time now, I've spent so long planning 😄

Thanks. That's really helpful as my ADR day is fast approaching and I'll be in work at the time so anything to speed up the process is good

Thanks for tip about the wish list; I didn't know that existed!
I've only got QSDP but will be making a couple of ADRs too

Hi, if you have card details/phone number already on MDE does this mean that it automatically inputs these for each ADR you book? Also was just wondering for each ADR what information do you have to provide? Just want to make sure I have everything needed to hand so as not to have to waste time trying to find something whilst doing the bookings! Thanks

If the card and phone number are stored then it remembers them. You still have to confirm them each time but not re-enter them.

Another tip with entering a mobile number. Ensure you save it as +44 7... i should have known better but started with a zero so had to keep manually amending my number for each booking as it didn't like the format.

Brilliant tip about the wish list thank you. Also the tip about CRT as we would like to take my little girl there.
