list of visits

Hi everyone, we have a list of things to do away from the parks, We provide a number of suggestions as part of our details we send to guests who book our closesttothemagic home. There are lots of options obviously, but these are our suggestions: (We have loads more, so give us a nudge:

celebrationsurrey/ Cycling round the lakes; gators, deer, otters, birds and lunch at the Market St tavern.

floridastateparks/park/Lake-Louisa Take a kayak out...seriously, you will love it... eagles, gators, turtles, osprey

cwgdn/ Old style america... (again).

lakeridgewinery/ You have to pick your days, but they do a wine tasting/food festival.open air BBQ/blues festival on the same weekend. Live blues music, cold beer and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches a foot long...

downtownorlando/locat.../#.VWTX39K6fDc They do a Sunday market/craft fair, which isn't quite as boring as it sounds. Same as above except you are in Downtown and can have a wander around and grab some refreshments in town also. Close to the Amway and Church St.

whattodoinmtdora/ Quaint old style America, pick a day when there is a festival on though...

visitflorida/en-us/ar...d-connery.html One of our real favourites...Winter Park; old style Florida, plus excellent Vegan restaurant, (Can't believe I said that), plus quaint old town railway, Cigar lounge...I know, but you have to see it...

then, take a drive East for a half mile from the historic district, and follow the lake round to one of the shopping centres, and you can walk out onto the jetty and see the lake that Hulk Hogan lives at now... some expensive houses on the lake, check out google maps...

boktowergardens/ Feel a little bit middle aged suggesting this, but it's ok for a wander around for a few hours, and you don't get ripped off in the cafe afterwards...

disneyworld.disney.go/de...ons/boardwalk/ bit of an easy one this, but... it's free parking, and it has a rear entrance into Epcot at Canada. And you can always grab a boat to take you across the lake or to one of the resorts if you get a bit curious...

cocoabeach/ bit of an old favourite of ours, as the kids like surfing. Maybe not quite as cultured as Clearwater or Treasure Island, but who cares? They have a pier and a beach bar...
