Disney Boardwalk Area
Going to Orlando next year, November, not planning on going to disney this time maybe universal as LO loves jurassic park hes only 2 haha.
we will probably go to disney springs but just been looking at the Boardwalk area seems very nice but unsure on a few things just wondering if anyone could help clear them up. 1. is the area open is non Disney guests? (like disney springs) 2. where is best for parking? (again disney springs then walk or disney buses) 3. what is actually there? (guessing shops and restaurants) thanks in advance |

Shops, bars, nightclub, the beautiful lake and beaches. You can walk round it. From the boardwalk you can watch the epcot fireworks too.
Anyone can visit, 10 mins walk from excited. Edited at 10:51 PM. |

If you have a reservation at a any of the restaurants you can park here, otherwise park at the Springs and catch a bus.
Best in the evening when the entertainers are out. Also a nice stroll around the other hotels located there, you can call into any bar or even if not eating for an ice cream. 17:48,here now and plenty of people out for a stroll.

You could also park at the fantasia gardens mini golf, it's a short and lovely walk to the boardwalk from there.

we stay at the boardwalk and love a stroll around, but it's nowhere near as big as Disney Springs, it is literally a few shops and restaurants around the lake. In the evening there are some stalls that open and a magician or other entertainer comes out.
Its not that it's not pleasant but I don't want you to think it's more than it is. |

We'll stop there for a drink on the beach area on the way to epcot/hs/mini golf, but we wouldn't go out of our way to go to it to be honest. It is nice but not all that much there

You'd have to get a bus from Disney springs if you wanted to go from there. Alternative head to boardwalk from Epcot, which is walkable.

You can Valet park at the boardwalk inn also. We used it quite a lot last year for the boardwalk and also HS and Epcot
