Again we failed at breakfast this morning and shared this little pack of cookies and some doughnut holes from yesterday, we had brunch instead which is on the next post.

10/12/16 - brunch

You may start to see a trend here but we really like Starbucks so nipped in here for a light bite before we head to Disney springs later on - we also picked up some cakes and treats from Carlo's bakery today (chocolate cannaloni, chocolate mousse cake and chocolate creme puff) which we will be eating when we get back here later on (pics later too)

I ordered a small peppermint mocha frappe again with a pain au chocolate and Hubswand ordered a mocha frappe with a double bacon, cheddar and egg muffin.

D luxe Burger 10/12/16

Lunch/Afternoon foods was D-luxe burger

I got Dan a classic cheeseburger- no salad and I ordered a barbecue classic burger with small fries to share.

You order at the till and they give you a tracker and bring the food to you, the drinks here are unlimited refills too so you are given a cup if you purchase a non alcoholic drink

The burgers in here are huge, very tasty but super greasy and that's why you are given kitchen roll on each table, we enjoyed these but I must admit my tummy didn't. Bill came to $32.23

Coca Cola store, rooftop bar. 10/12/16

We had seen a few people try these world flavour trays on YouTube and had to have a go ourselves, you are given for $8.50 16 small cups of world favourite Coca Cola products (there's something similar in club cool in Epcot)

Here's the menu

Tray 1

Tray 2

Bill

Now some of these flavours are absolutely gross and some really synthetic but it's great fun to try out even if it is just to watch everyone around you try the Beverly.

We also washed these nasty flavours down with a JD and Coke

$12 each

The Boathouse 10/12/16

Tonight was so busy at Disney Springs and we tried and failed to see the xmas drone show prior to our reservation at The Boathouse, the drone show was cancelled at 7pm so everyone attended the 8:30pm one instead, the finale was also clouded by a couple of men fighting which made it a non magical Disney experience.

We made our way to our our 9pm reservation with high hopes and despite being very busy we were seated after a couple of minutes.

Our seat was close to the dockside bar near the door to the dock and a cool gentle breeze was coming in through the door which was nice.

Our view was of the bar and water.

We ordered drinks , Hubswand had a Budweiser but I went for a blueberry lemonade cocktail which is - Blueberry Lemonade
Stoli Blueberry, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, Homemade Lemonade, Fresh Blueberries - it came in a collectible glass and was $21

The bread then came out which was lovely, soft and warm

I must add the service in here is great and the staff go out of there way to make you feel special.

We both ordered filet migion sliders which came with skin on fries and I ordered a mac n cheese side for us to both share.

The sliders were lovely and cooked medium as requested.

Then a bit of Disney magic started to happen - the drone show started again and we had a perfect amazing view from our table

The bill was really low considering what we ate and I would highly recommend this restaurant, the ambiance was great and the live jazz band inside made it even better

No breakfast for us again today because lunch was going to be at the Garden Grill at Epcot. I'm sorry we are not having breakfast much - I promise we will in the next couple of days

Our reservation was at 12:15 and we were starving and really looking forward to this, for those of you who do not know this is a rotating restaurant which is above the living with the land ride, characters come out (Mickey, Chip and Dale and Pluto) and the food is in abundance.

We were seated almost immediately and our server got us some drinks - we asked for Diet Coke.

Soon after our bread and salad arrived, all the salad is grown in the land pavilion

Bread came with maple butter which was naturally sweet

Next up our hot food, mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, mashed potato, brisket, turkey, stuffing, greens, and Italian sausage

It was all delicious but we couldn't get anywhere near eating it all and we still needed room for pudding, all whilst this was going on we were greeted by Pluto and Mickey

And then pudding came which was huge, it was a strawberry shortcake with cream and about the size of my head

But surprisingly light, we demolished a good 2/3 of it. Now for the bill - this meal isn't cheap but in our eyes it's worth every penny, the food is lovely, service great, you are rotating and get to meet the characters. Total with tip was $114

I might have to give the burgers at D-Luxe a miss if they're really greasy. My stomach hates grease

Boathouse looks lovely - have read mixed reviews so nice to see a good one as I really want to go on our next trip! What a perfect view of the drone show too
