Thanks for stopping by.

I would love to go back but not sure what time of year i'd go. We have been in May before when there was a heat wave and whilst it was nice to see Central Park in full bloom it was really hot and a bit hard work.

November was pretty fab with the trees all rusty coloured. Sadly we missed most of the Christmas decorations though Most days it wasn't as cold as we'd expected. We took hats scarves & gloves but only really needed our coats or even just a jumper some days. You are kept warm by all the walking around. There was one day where it took a really chilly turn when we happened to be on the oven top bus  It was a great time to visit though.

Loving your dining report so far.

Oh really.. thought the christmas decs went up earlier on, I bet it did still look great though. Its just last time I went away at christmas time was Berlin 3 years ago for the weekend for the christmas markets and was totally underdressed... even with 3 layers including a huge coat and gloves I was still freezing

And cheers, should be able to do a couple more updates tomorrow.

I love Nyc at Christmas. We've been about 5 times and always go the first week after Thanksgiving. We love it. We love it that much we even got married there lol. It is cold but wiling a pair of uggs and a warm winters coat it fine. The first time we went it was bitterly cold and we had luckily took thermals but everytime after its been cold but not much difference to the uk to be honest, a little colder but it's fine. The decorations everywhere are absolutely amazing x

Great report, thanks for sharing. It makes me want to go back to New York to try new restaurants.

I really should learn not to read food reports when it is close to lunch as I am now starving.

Just found this food report (saving it for tonight!), I remember you asking on my trippie about the Rainbow Room so I look forward to reading your review too. We're going back to NY in June - and back to the Rainbow Room - so I'm now looking for new ideas - can't wait.
edit - I've read it right through, we must find the Levain bakery for those cookies, and Rosie O'Grady's is now on the list too.

This is all too good, some of the dishes look incredible!

Rosie's looks fab, so does your brunch! Wow!

Shame about the plane food, it's so hit & miss isn't it?

Have you got any more trips coming up? Also, did the house move all go through okay in the end?

Ooh Levain bakery cookies are the best ever. It's up behind the Natural History museum. Get one of each of the 4 flavours. Bloody gorgeous xx
