Credit card - pin or signature?

More and more shops are going chip and pin. We have been in a few that have only just had the chip machines installed but weren't on line just yet but will be over the next few days. So be prepared to use your pin.

Over the last two weeks I've only had to use the pin a couple of times. Some places asked for a signature, mostly I have just swiped the card and not signed anything.

Thanks... this thread reminded me to get a pin reminder for my Halifax clarity card, it only gets used in the USA so I've forgotten it since I last used it in February xx

In our area, SW Fla, where we grocery shop most are now chip and pin.

There have been set up for pin for years but don't use it the little machine u sign on also has ability to slot card in on front but they are only just starting to use

As others have said it a mix now. It was the most times I have ever been asked for pin.
Walmart us chip and pin now.
