Roadworks around WDW

Hey all,

I've seen a few vlogs / pictures recently of there being a lot of roadworks on WDW property. Namely the road being closed under the WDW sign! And the regular entrance road to HS being closed.

Was wondering if anyone knows how long these are meant to be there? We go end of the month, will be a shame if we can't drive under the sign on our first day driving into Disney.

Also if anyone is there now or been there recently when all the roadworks were happening is it really affecting anything? From what I've seen of the HS entrance now it looks pretty confusing?

The contra flow around the Welcome sign by HS heading towards Epcot and MK won't be going soon. Driven past it a few times this week, it's a long term project.
Lots of works going on, but little impact on traffic, just looks a bit more than "Pixie Dust"... temporary eyesore more like

Preparations for the new traffic flow into HS car park for when Star Wars and Toy Story land open I believe.

my two girls will be gutted as they love going under that on the first day. i noticed on a vlog the other day there was roadworks around it but then someone else posted another vid last night and they drove under the sign so thought it had all been removed.
