Homecomin' or House of Blues?

We curently have Homecomin' booked, but now im liking the sound of HOB and have had a good recommendation for it too. Anyone been to both? Which one would you do?

We ate in HOB last night, we wouldn't return, two of us had the full rack of ribs & they were poor, totally overcooked, steak was good though along with the service

Last year we ate twice at HOB, loved it. Went last week, not impressed. Food wasn't hot, Voodoo Shrimp looked/tasted as if it had been sitting around on a counter for a while (should have sent it back but didn't want to spoil the evening for my easy going OH) bill was incorrect (we paid oop) They said they'd correct it, 2 days later still wrong. Our hotel concierge has dealt with it now but we wouldn't return. We're looking forward to trying Homecoming in a few days

We really like HoB and tend to go there each trip. However we loved Homecomin'.

If it is a choice between the two - Homecomin' wins hands down.

Ohh. This is helpful. I expected the complete opposite! I won't give up my homecomin reservation then... they're getting hard to come by too!

Have never eaten at homecomin' but out of all the places we ate the last time we went HOB was the only one we were disappointed with. Food was ok but the service was terrible compared to everywhere else!

We did both on our last trip.

HOB, server was great he was pretty busy with a large table next us to but always checked we were ok every time he pasted. Food was also really good, it's become a must visit for us on our last 3 or 4 trips.

Homecoming, server was ok. It took ages for DW cocktail to come so he had it removed from the bill. Food was also good, the mac and cheese is the best I've ever had would visit just for that.

Sorry that doesn't help pick between the 2 but honestly I'd look at fitting both in, both worth it and are different!

I went to HOB in 2014 and loved it, and was so excited to go back this year and I was really gutted as it was probably my least favourite meal in the 2 weeks we were there.
We also ate at Homecomin and it was amazing, such great food and service! Definitely going back next time!

We did HOB last year and loved it so much we went back a week later. The second time it wasn't so good but by no means awful. We are trying Homecomin this year instead as its not had many bad reviews so far. I would keep the reservation as you can probably just walk into HOB if you desperately want to try it another day
