Made a video tonight to reveal to the girls.they were so shocked and couldn't believe we had lied for so long (they thought we were going Portugal). I can, after 400 + days, now talk about it at home. I think half the fun is the planning, build up and you tube searching for them now they are tweens/teens.

Good for you keeping that to yourself. Our nephew (7) has been real naughty lately so we have told him he is no longer going and staying with grandma. He seems to have accepted it as he is making plans what they are going to do while we are away. LOL

Two of the three cried it was so much fun to watch them working out what was going on.

I am terrible myself I start to cry whenever I am about to tell them any sort of surprise or treat so they immediately guess, I am going to have to think of something really sneaky for my kids as they are getting very canny xx

awww glad that it went well... our DD is 4 and shes fab and we talk to hear about it all the time but she doesn't understand when we are actually going, that makes it more fun
