October 2017 Honeymoon - Recommendations

Hi everyone,

Having got married 2 weeks ago I'm now turning my attention to organising our honeymoon we are staying at the Grand Floridian for 2 weeks from 21st October 2017.

I'm trying to organise our days as our dining reservations are available in a couple of weeks but as it's my first time to WDW I wondered if anyone has any tips of things we must do. My husband has been before but not for a few years.

Hello and welcome. Do you have the dining plan ? What sort of things do you both like ?

No we don't have the dining plan. We've picked out some key dining we want to do - breakfast at Ohana, dinner at Chef Mickey's and dinner at Be Our Guest.

We have on our list doing the VIP thrills tour and one of the backstage tours. We are also going to spend a couple of days at universal.

Open to any other suggestions though!

Sammy Duvall water centre at the contemporary might be good for you for something special (pwc tour) .
Cali grill brunch ten go back for the fireworks in the evening . Ferrytale wishes cruise. Tiffins at ak lunch ( it's cheaper than dinner ) .
Mnsshp is fabulous. A dessert party?
Wild trek Africa at ak it caring for giants .

There is so much . Mnsshp would be good for you going when you are going. It's a really special night . And perhaps Cali grill because of the views and being able to go back for the fireworks.
Congratulations btw , I'm sure you will fall in love with Disney . You are so lucky to be staying at the GF
Bog dinner is wonderful .
Take the boat between hs and Epcot that's really nice and free lol. I love chef mickeys dinner after 7:30 pm , it quietens down a little. Tusker house is nice for breakfast and Crystal Palace is beautiful .
Eating funnel cake at sleepy hollow is brilliant .
Get the ferry across to mk . It's thing like that you may miss with staying at the GF so do it x

We're also honeymooners and going the same time as you! We're looking to splash out a little bit, fancy dinners, renting those boats for the seven seas lagoon, and maybe some of the tours currently on offer at MK. Congratulations and have a great time!
