Went to longhorns at rolling oaks tonight, usually our favourite meal, was a little underwhelmed this time if I'm honest. Steaks were generally good, service was ok. Ordered broccoli which arrived half way through the meal and it was totally raw!, it came again just as I had nearly finished. Place was only half full but we still had a buzzer and a 15 minute wait. Wrong drink orders and one steak cooked rare instead of medium well.
We still enjoyed it but as it was the most expensive and the one meal we really look forward too, I was a little disappointed. Going back to Chillis from now on.

Though I have had great meals here I do like the one that has been there for over 20 years farther down 192 next to the Waffle house ..shame that it didn't live up to expectations as when its good it is Gorgeous...
I have found that in the USA in general that they absolutely cook green beans for hours and yet broccoli is usually blanched at best! cannot even comment on Chillis due to past horror but its only on a par with say applebees or Millers imho

We had good meals at Longhorn, but I have to say that Texas Roadhouse is better. I'm really looking forward to going there again

I'll miss it too. All my 32oz T shirts have worn out and I can't get a replacement

First time we went to Kissimmee we stopped here about four times. The kids loved the cowboy outside waving you in. On our second trip we were gutted that it had closed, we drove up and down the road in case we'd just forgotten where it was.
They took kids eat free cards there too, so it was one of the cheapest meals we had. |
