Mobile Hot Topic sizes

I'm going to order some bits to the UK for Xmas. I know import can be expensive as I've never had something come through without being stopped.
Just wondering if it's right they don't technically do ladies clothes? They're all girls. So a size 8 is actually a medium, and a size 12 is large-xl?

Don't want to pay all that and get it wrong as they'll be presents.

I bought a few things last year and I'd say XL was more like a 14-16, L was 12-14 and medium about 8-10. Though read the reviews as some the same size were quite different in real life. Two t-shirts in size L were I'd say the difference between a 12 and 16

Just to agree with what's been said already - sizing is a bit dodgy! I'm a 12 and my two DDs are an 8 and 10, and there seems to be relatively little commonality between sizes. Usually I get away with M but one of my M dresses was too small for size 8 DD.

Just an update. Spent £300 on my Sister including customs and postage and everything I ordered in a M (which should be uk size 7-9) is absolutely massive. I'm a 12/14 and it's big on me.

I'm absolutely gutted. Really wanted something special for her. I've emailed them a couple of days ago and not heard anything back. I even took her measurements but they're so so out.

What did you order? I'm about to do a click and collect order for next week and I was going to go on the L-XL sizes I ordered last year.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I'm not surprised though
My M sizes have ranged from UK six up to UK 14. It is rubbish and one of the reasons I never order to here any more.

Sorry just seen this. TNBC cardi, Ariel vest with lace and cross over back (would fit an 18!) the Ariel tattoo tank and Alice on a swing tank (may get away with these but still 12-14) and two skull tops which are most defo plus size!
Got the mug that comes up with Cheshire Cat though, that arrived safely and some nice hair clips. DH got two wrestling tops and medium men's is medium just a little longer which he likes.

I'm more annoyed I emailed and I've not even had a receipt of acknowledgement. Bad service. 😢
