Gatwick hotel
Hi, could anyone recommend a hotel in Gatwick where we can stay the night before our flight and with a free bus transfer the next morning?
Oh and not too expensive! Thanks, Sarah |

If you shop at Tesco you can stay at the Hilton which is attached to the south terminal free - or at least for Tesco Deals vouchers.
You will "pay" full rack rate though. For instance if a room and breakfast with Tesco Deals is £120 you will need £40 in Deals Last year however we got a deal at the Premier Inn which is attached to the north terminal for £29 Don't think those prices are around for long though Mick

I highly recommend the Premier Inn at the North Terminal (even if you're flying from the south). It's reasonable and so convenient!

There are lots of B & B's with free parking and cheap transfers.
We stay at the Acorn Lodge B & B, we usually e-mail them direct for a price, this can include parking and free cooked breakfast. We can also walk to Ye Olde Six Bells (via the grave yard) for an evening meal the night before. The Acorn Lodge is quite basic but for the price and car parking it is well worth the money IMHO.

The free monorail connects north and south terminals in a couple of minutes. Walk across the zebra crossing outside the PI and you're at the monorail in less than 5 minutes

We stayed at the Premier Inn at North Terminal. Keep checking their site for deals.

We are staying in the Bloc in a couple of months. It cost about £80 for a family room and it sits on top of the south terminal building.

We are booked at the Bloc this year we got a good deal which included our parking. We normally stay at the Hilton, I would be interested to hear what you thought of the Bloc.
