Universal Hotel Check in times

Looking to book one night in one of the Universal hotels (probably RPR, but ultimately whichever is cheaper) to get the express passes.

The website says check in is at 4pm and your room key is you Express Pass. We were hoping to do 2 full days of the parks with one over night stay. Is it possible to get checked in and get the express pass earlier than 4pm? (Not worried about getting into room, just the parks!)

Also if that is possible to check In earlier - can we park in the hotel car park from the morning of our stay or do we have to move the car from the theme park car park half way through the day?

We checked in to HRH at 7 am. Parked at the hotel and the fee covered us for check in and check out day also. Can�t remember how much it was but fee was only one night.
We left luggage with reception.

You can park in the hotel car park, no need to move, there is a per-night charge of about the same as the per-day charge for park parking. There may be no spaces for self parking as no-one has checked out/moved car, so you may have to valet park that first morning. (make sure the desk knows there were no self-park and you do not get charged the extra)

Check in is open from about 6.30 (the earliest we have tried) - you may or may not be given a room at that time, if not, leave luggage with bell services and reception will text/email you when room is ready - we just go to desk on return from the park on the evening.
