Exactly the same as you 😢. Feel worse since the announcement than before. We quite often skip the parades, one of my daughters hates fireworks and One hates the characters interrupting her meals (😂 so those things aren’t the major issue for us. I think it’s the ‘unknown’ experience - it won’t be carefree and fun like we are used to it being; the park hours are reduced; we have ddp and like the epcot restaurants but if we have to choose a park a day we don’t want to go to epcot every day! And god knows what it will be like wearing a mask 😷- I do it at work but outside in sun and heat may be a different ball game. And I feel quite sad about my kids having to wear masks if you know what I mean? I also completely agree - what a LOT of money to spend on such a reduced experience 😬
The decision has almost become harder... |

I would book a Gatwick hotel now thats fully refundable if they do decide to change to LHR ..in fact I would book at LHR as well ( both fully refundable) as if the flights do go ahead there may be a mad scramble for Overnight accommodation the night before and /or they may rocket their prices up . BA fly into Miami so they could offer you that option, we are flying out of Miami in November ( hopefully)that goes into LHR Edited at 11:15 AM. |

Well, I think that is the end of July for me. Due to go 7th July from Manchester staying at Disney so if not opening until 11th presumably will get a refund.
Wouldn't fancy that heat and humidity with face masks on anyway. Good luck to everyone and hope you get the holiday you want and deserve! Now to hold my mettle and see if prices come down for next year as they are currently obscene! |

I’ve begun the sad process of moving bookings. Cancelled the villa today, requested to move Virgin hotel, already asked to move tickets to next year.
We were due to go on the 21st and had bought ultimate tickets would seem like very poor value with so many restrictions. Disney’s announcement was the deciding factor. Obviously, FCO still need to say we could fly anyway and Donald needs to open borders. In one way, I’m relieved the decision is made. Hopefully, I’ll be able to enjoy the build up to my holiday next year instead of all this stress. I’m feeling pretty sad today though- especially when I cancelled my ADRs. 😢😢 |

I have been driving myself crazy for the past 24 hours. Spoke to family, they all still happy to go despite we might have to stay overnight at LHR and make our own transfer from LHR to LGW. BA still hasn’t contact me in regards possible cancellation and still the not known about border opens or not.
So I have decided that I’m not going to do anything until 1 month before we travel. Hopefully By then I would have a better picture of what’s going on n what I shud do. This has become too stressful, I think I need a holiday after this holiday. |

Yes I’m sitting tight for a while longer too. I initially felt a bit deflated by all the restrictions from Disney but now I’ve decided I’ve still got a bit of time on my side - let’s at least wait until disney release the full details. Maybe it will become clearer one way or the other 😃

I also can’t help but think disney may pull something special out of the bag in recompense for a reduced experience. I don’t expect them to give any partial refunds but surely they will do something? Extra gift cards? Free parking since the transportation is reduced?

I just need to know whether we can go or not! A decision either way would be useful now - it’s only 7 weeks to mid-July
