Virgin name merge

We booked through Virgin Holidays recently and upon checking our flight tickets I've noticed that our first names and titles have been merged together. For example, my name reads as Satedamiss and my other half's name as Boyfriendmr.

I've had a quick Google about this and it seems that name smooshing is not an uncommon issue and usually fine. Has anyone flying with Virgin had this issue before? I am aware that they have a fee for changing names and I'm honestly not happy paying this as I entered our names correctly when booking - the system has generated them like this. Just worrying a bit!

That's fine...had that a few times on plane tickets etc. I guess you can ring them to put your mind at rest.

Almost all airlines ticketing systems do this. So long as you have your name spelled correctly it's OK usually

We had this booking through VH for flights last last Dec. No issues at all. Same for flights this year not worried at all.

I contacted Virgin about it as it was worrying me.

I got an email back confirming it was totally fine and we'd be ok to travel, it's just something that their system does
