MAN car parking and day rooms

Hello,

We're not away for a while yet, but just doing some research etc to get my plans/finances sorted.

Any recommendations for car parking at MAN where you get to keep your own keys? We're flying from terminal one.

Also looking for hotels that do day rooms in Manchester.

Thanks in advance.

xx

If you want to keep your keys then you need either:

Multistory T1
Long Stay t1 (bus transfer)
Any Jetparks (bus transfer)

However Manchester has just opened a new multistory at T2 which is reasonably priced in my opinion but you would be looking at a 20 min or so walk from T1.

If you haven't already done so sign up to Manchester Airport website the send out offers every week or two with some kind of discount.

We parked in the multi storey at Manchester last week and it was very easy and the spaces are a decent size

Thanks both.

Our bank offer us a discount on airport parking so I have been quoted 3 weeks parking in jetparks 3 for £112.49.

Is this a decent price for Manchester? We leave on 21st June, back on 13th July.

Hi!
We flew from Man - Sydney last year and struggled to find day rooms. We ended up booking a Premier Inn at the airport for the night before and night after our morning of arrival. It was only £29 per night if booked early enough. Our flight landed at 7.30 am so our room was ours from then until the following morning if we'd needed it - they didn't do an early check in which is why we'd had to book it for the night before aswell (as it happened we just wanted to get home so my husband decided he'd slept enough on the plane so drove the 2 hour journey home). We didn't mind losing the £60 and it made the journey home so much less stressful knowing we had a place to sleep if we'd needed it.

Parking wise - we used Jetparks. Park yourself and keep your keys - bus to terminal every few minutes. Cheaper than the multi storey, though out of choice I always use the multi storey when going away for a week. Anything more becomes extortionate.

We do exactly the same every time we fly back from Orlando and it works so well. I love the fact that the room is ready to use and we can just crash. I normally ask for a room at the end of a corridor too so we don't get disturbed by people walking past all the time.

Thanks both.

Our dates aren't showing on Premier Inn site so will keep an eye out and consider this as an option.

As a family of 5, it's likely we'll need 2 rooms anyway (at Premier Inn for definite as their rooms are only for 4) for both the night before our flight and after our return.

Eeeek that’s not good!

H has vetoed anywhere that means we need to leave the keys. Especially next year as we’ve just got a brand new car, so he’s feeling quite precious about it
