Prices gone up overnight

Hi I was looking a car hire for late February last night and found the best prices either via Alamo brits or VA, for 15 night Toyota Rav or similar it was £493, went to book this morning it’s now £593 is this because the weekend, do prices go up and down all the time? Tbh it’s the most we have ever paid for car hire, prices we paid before we’re no where as dear, perhaps I will wait till next week and see what happens 🤷

Yes prices fluctuate constantly , The exchange rate dropping doesn’t help , just keep checking next week .

Have you tried pricing up in "incognito" mode?
Some sites will see you've been before and up the price so you buy, in case it goes up again...

Yep tried that, still no change, I will hold out and look next week, no rush I suppose but I do like to get everything booked lol

Try dfch ( Andy ) he was so much cheaper than va and Alamo and just don’t pay a penny yet and can amend if the price goes down .

I would agree with Mexy02 and try Andy. I booked car hire with him yesterday and he was cheaper than Alamo Brits, plus he will amend your booking if prices drop you just need to keep checking.
