Virgin Flight Gatwick- free water?

Hi,
Has anyone flown Virgin from Gatwick recently?

Last year I overloaded with water bottles from Wh Smith in the airport and they were handing out free bottles of water when boarding.

Leaving from MCO I didn't buy bottled water, because of what happened on the way out and they didn't give us any, so don't want to be in the same position this year. X

Thanks

We just got back yesterday morning

There were small bottles of water on the seat both on the way there & back. They came round quite regularly offering drinks, moreso on the way out than the way back but I think may be so they dont disturb you so much on a night flight.

We flew in May and there was a small bottle of water in the seat for both outward and return!

We've always found copioous amounts of water with VA - they gave me a litre bottle last year when I asked for more.

Thanks for the replies, I did find on the way out the drinks were more frequent x
It will save me overloading this time!

I never rely on the crew to provide me with something as important as water.

I like to keep hydrated so usually get the 2 bottles from WH Smiths and take what's left with me.

I am flying indirect so cannot take liquids between flights but if I have to waste it it isn't a big deal.

I like to keep a bottle with me throughout the flight.

We always take our own but in fairness never had a problem getting more water from crew even if we had to ask at the galley. There was a little bottle provided in the seat on both flights though
