I think its more of a principle thing now. I won't be booking to stay at 2018, those increases are just obscene

If you have don't DL California then you should definitely give it a go, it was the very first park after all

I've just priced up for next year and we're now showing £6520 for the same again.
So, another way of looking at it, the price increased by £1860 (59%) in the 3 years from 2012 to 2015. And in the 3 years from 2015 to 2018 the price increased by only £1508 (30%) in the same period.

So price increases are actually reducing.

Price increases (even large-ish ones) have not put people off in the past. In fact, the number of people heading to Disney keeps on increasing - which is why the prices keep going up.

A significant part of the increase is due to the poor exchange rate. £5000 in 2015 would have got you around $7600 worth of hotels and tickets. To get the same amount in dollars now will cost you around £5900.
