We booked yesterday after weeks of flight checking.
BA gla-gtw-mco, 12/07/18
Mia-Lhr-gla 31/07/18
2 ad, 1 teen, 1 ch: £1869 (£467pp).
This is the cheapest we have ever got flights for during school holidays. Delighted at price, and now the planning can begin.
Out with BA, but return is a code share with AA so managed to book seats on return leg free of charge!

Does that price include car hire?

It doesn't include car hire unfortunately. As we're hiring from Mco and returning in Miami, the prices were higher than hiring/returning to same location. Going to phone BA direct as we have lots of Avios so hopeing to use these to get a better price for the car.

Are there many of us left still looking for flights?

Im searching about 10 times a day for a 'glitch'. Couldn't convince dh with the BA Miami flydrives and it looks they've all gone up now only the European carriers with the cheap prices now. Plenty of under £500s but we've been spoilt with just over £300 the last couple of years so patiently waiting.

I'm still looking. We've got 2 weeks booked at okw from 31/07/18 to 14/08/18. I'm really keen to fly into mco and want to leave from a London airport. But I'm still hopeful something will come up. Good luck searching.

Yes. Usually book in the Christmas or even Easter sales for end of July/ early August

Always get less than £750 direct from Manchester with either Virgin or TC

Will not consider indirect with young Children.

I'm still looking, we were tempted by the Man-MIA cheap flights but as we were not planning on going next year thought we would hold out for any deals into MCO and if they don't come leave it till 2019. It was around this time last year that we got the £315 flights to MCO with AA.

I have enough miles for VA reward flights if I can get direct each way but they only have direct out and indirect back which cost more so I am about 15000 short.

Still looking too 🙂 Ideally end of June/early July. Was also tempted by Miami but not committed yet. Fingers crossed for something 😁😁

We've got exactly the same dates as you! Have to be home for A levels AND GCSE results this year(yes, it will be calm and peaceful in our house this spring! ) so we are really tight with our dates. Looking twice a day!
