Phoning up Disney UK and asking them to upgrade should be fine. Disney are generally happy to take more money from you.

I'm not sure whether you can upgrade the ticket online without speaking to someone. I suspect not.

It really depends on the 16 year old.

My daughter is currently 15 but swiftly approaching 16. She's happy to go on all the "smaller" rides - rides like IASW and Jouney into Imagination - just like us adults are. She likes many of the thrill rides too (but not ToT, which she hates). Plus, she still loves meeting all the characters. So, if anything, there's more for her to enjoy than there would be for a 4 year old.

If we thought carefully none of us would go

Haha. Yeah I’m sure Disney won’t turn down a bit more of my cash. I’ll get that done soon now that I have my mde linked.

My 16 year old step daughter is similar as she will love all the Disney stuff but, unlike when we took her years ago, will go on anything now including the roller coasters. I know she won’t complain though if we skip universal as will be wanting a bit of pool time etc like us and will enjoy the characters etc and love seeing her little brother and sister meeting them like we will.

I’m glad I’ve booked it all separately as if I’d just seen the total price up front I’d have said,”sod that! Where shall we go in the med” haha
