The children bought these on our last trip October 2014. They only used them for a couple of hours. Will they still work if we take them with us when we go in May?

Yes they will, if you have a problem you can go into the wand shop and they will replace the bit in the tip of the wand.

I answered the same question fairly recently.

There are no batteries in the wand. The spell locations have an IR light and receiver. The wand is nothing more than an expensive reflector.
