Water parks with toddler?
We are off in October/November with our DS who will be 20mths. Just doing Disney with the 14 day tickets.
Would you bother factoring in water parks? We are staying at beach club (thanks to the great SSR debacle!) which by all accounts has the best pool on property, so would we be missing out if we skipped BB/TL? We've done both before pre baby and enjoy them but don't do the big rides. I guess I've answered my own question, but has anyone taken a little one and felt it was a must do?

TL & BB both have lovely toddler sections with some slides. TL has more slides in their toddler section I think. There’s the sand area and paddling in the shallows plus the lazy river.
Stormalong Bay might be the best hotel pool onsite but it’s not a water park. I’d still make a visit to TL and let him run around the slides designed for him age. |

My daughter was 18 months when we were there and I think she enjoyed the water parks more than anything else. Agree that Typhoon Lagoon was our preferred one then for toddlers.

We took our 22 month old grandson to Typhoon lagoon and he loved every second. We got seats under shade right next to the toddler section and some poor soul spent nearly every minute of the day stood watching him. We didn’t even have to join in, he entertained himself.

Thank you! Sounds like it's worth trying to do TL then - we did BB last time so it's been a while since I went to TL and was way too far from having kids to pay attention to the toddler area then!
He loves swimming (at the moment!) and while not quite walking yet I'm assuming he will be by then and love splashing around. We're going to Center Parcs in May which will be a good test! Thanks again

I’m happy you asked this as was thinking the same. My 3 year old is a proper water baby and can swim unaided with no floatation aids, so happy there is a little area for him 🙂

We took our then 2 yr old to blizzard beach. The kids area there is fab, we preferred it to the kids area in typhoon lagoon but both are worth a visit. We didn’t stop all day, we got there at opening and left about 1ish, had some lunch and then hit a park in the evening. Our son certainly enjoyed it!
