Floridatix or NOFloridatix

Guys,

On Sunday I decided to order my theme park tickets through Floridatix as they had their 5% discount sale on. I went through the whole process of ordering the right tickets, inputted details including credit card details and then ... nothing. I didn't get a confirmation number or email or anything. I couldn't call them as it was in the evening when I tried to order the tickets.

So I called them the next day (Monday). Spoke to some lady (who was polite enough) who advised that the transaction was stopped by Barclaycard as they thought it might be a fraudulent internet transaction. I was a little confused at this as I have purchased many items on the same card on the internet without any problems. I was only spending £240 with Floridatix on 3 tickets.

Anyways, I called Barclaycard and they have advised me that the transaction is complete on their end and it is showing that they have paid Floridatix. I guess I'm gonna have to spend the morning chasing up these tickets now!

Anyone else experiencing problems with ordering with Floridatix? This isn't a witch hunt, I'm just concerned that there is £240 of my money in cyberspace somewhere and still no confirmation of any tickets.

Concerned and Confused!

I have only used them once which was a couple of weeks ago, again when they had a discount weekend. I was very wary of using them but everything went through fine and the tickets arrived two days later. I am sure they will sort this out for you. Good luck.

I used the same code at the weekend, but I DID get a confirmation number and email, with the transaction going straight through. Sounds like there is a blip somewhere in the system. This was the first time that I have used them, and I expect the tickets to turn up in the next couple of days. Hope yours arrive soon.

I did exactly the same as you. I only ordered one Ticket (£95!) put in the discount code, went through the process only to get a message saying the transaction was not allowed.

Spoke to a woman yesterday, quite abrupt, same reply. When I asked if I could order the ticket again she said the offer was no longer available and I would have to pay the full price (yeah, I know it's only a saving of £4-75, but it's the principle).

Will now check my bank account!

Seems a little ODD to me!

Funny, I tried to book Universal tickets on Sunday with the 5% off. I put in all details, including card numbers and didn't get a confirmation number. The page came up and said there had been a problem and gave me a ref number if I wanted to phone. I rang yesterday and was told it wasn't a problem with my card, I had omitted to put my title on the CC in the details (I'm sure I did). Anyway, the lady was very nice and put the order through for me and honoured the 5% discount (with no problem whatsover) and is sending the tickets out. Hopefully all will arrive 7-10 days. Thing is it's all on my CC so if there is a problem I will contact the CC company. It's too good a discount to miss out IMHO

Hi, give them a ring, they honoured my discount. They have to charge the full amount, then a discount goes through in 3-5 days. If it doesn't I will post back and vent then
