Well I have $490 paid off now. It's a start and you don't miss $250 or so a month (well not as much as 3k+ in January).

We don't have as many points as you so ours is substantially less but still get a heft bill! You all spurred me on and i've just been on and paid off $150 - let's see if I can keep that up, even if for only a few months as it would make a big difference. Still got our next Disney cruise to pay for on 3rd April so may need to skip a payment that month 😬

Well done. I am in the same position re Disney Cruise- ours is in August (after a Universal and Gulf Coast stay) so I will have to pay soon I think. Also paying off flights with Virgin for next Xmas, booked with Virgin Holidays so paying off monthly there too- why not. Fortunately I am staying on points then, and already bought tickets.
What's the point in working hard and earning money if you cannot spend it on holidays is my mantra.

That is our philosophy too. Still tied to school hols for a couple more summers but then looking forward to having a bit more flexibility which may help with some of the holiday costs!
