Not been for 10 years... what's new?

The last time we went to DLP was our honeymoon 10 years ago. We go back again for our 10th Anniversary in September. I'm curious as what's new?

When we last went, the Ratatouille area wasn't there, and there was only a tiny bit of a Cars area. Sunset Blvd had only recently opened.

However Phantom Manor was still open

I'm looking forward to seeing the difference now that it's FULLY Disney owned! Some of the compromises were poor, like the characters that were around to meet or on floats etc... Gepetto... Friar Tuck... (nowhere near their respective main story characters like Pinocchio and Robin Hood), I just found it all odd.

So what else is there new that I have to look forward to?

Hey Adcro

Am sure others will jump in, but off the top of my head:
-Pirates of the Caribbean update with Jonny Depp Animatronic added
- Toystory Playland with Slinky Dog, Parachutes and RC Racer
- the totally beautiful Ratatouille ride, restaurant and shop - whole area is so well themed.
- Star Tours upgrade with multi storylines, can be different everytime you ride!
- Mickey's Philharmagic 4D cinema in place of Honey I Shrunk the audience
- Star wars overlay on Space Mountain
- Darth Vader meet n Greet (proper scary and fab!)
- New show in Studios park to replace (sniff sniff) Animagique (but it's very good)

And MUCH better meet n greet management if you are into characters

Enjoy!

Everything is new. OK not everything but there have been a lot of changes. Read a few trippies and watch a few video trippies to give you a flavour.

You'll notice some changes in Disney Village too...

* Earl of Sandwich
* new World of Disney store
* Vapianos and Five Guys round the corner from the above
