Buy in USA or U.K.
Hey guys
Sorry if this is a repeat of previous threads I’ve tried searching and cannot find my answer easily so for me it’s easiest to ask! we are a group of 6 adults 4 kiddos who are leaving a week Friday! Excited Now... mobile phones. We are going to need to split up occasionally. Is it best to buy a sim in the USA? Or just get a three sim here? |

Depends really, The pay and go sims from like of walmart are fine, but not always the cost effective option.
if the phones are only required for parks - the wifi is fine for whats app messages etc..

Check your mobile provider here first, many now include global roaming. I’m with Vodafone and have global roaming plus which means I can use my phone in the US, as can my teenager. I think O2 allow you to do a bolt on. If not, previously we had a spare iPhone and got a 3 sim and topped that up with £20, this was just incase we got stuck on the highways. We always used the WiFi in the parks and WhatsApp calling to call each other if we split up.

I'm with O2 and you're correct, they have a bolt on - I have it included in my plan. It's called Travel Inclusive Zone. It worked fine when I was in Orlando last year, I didn't pay any extra charges.
