Musicals/Theatre in Orlando

Any of you who are interested in musicals, concerts, stand up etc, there is a good programme of shows at the Dr Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando.
There is a series of shows which are called Broadway in Orlando and have touring versions of big name shows.
The concerts are varied and also include interesting stand ups as well as plays.
We have been to the centre a few times and it is amazing, the Walt Disney Theatre (which is part of the centre) is jaw dropping - a lot of money has been spent there!
Parking is easy and for big productions they offer valet parking.

That’s really interesting, we haven’t got a Florida trip planned at the moment but we love the theatre so will keep this in mind

I’ve also added this to the Dibb guidebook.
We’re waiting to book the Nutcracker performed by Orlando Ballet at Christmas!

Interesting to see you say that parking is so easy - we were looking at a couple of gigs there last year, but parking looked to be a nightmare. Have things improved, or can you share any tips, please?!

The last two times we valet parked so I’m not absolutely sure where the parking is. However, there are a few parking stacks in downtown Orlando close to the venue.
They also run shuttles from some car parks.
