Sanford to LBV by 417

Hi we are looking to land in Sanford next time. I was thinking of taking the 417 to Lake Buena Vista as once on it, it’s just one road the whole way, and it’s a laidback kind of road and not an interstate. Reasonably confident about driving but having just landed I thought it might be a sensible option. Any thoughts? Thank you.

That’s what I did when I used to go via Sanford. I found it easier than going down the I4, which I find too fast.

Thing is, the 417 might be busier nowadays than when I used it some years ago - hopefully other Dibbers can give you an update.

You definitely want to take the 417. There are roadworks on I4 and it would make for a very stressful drive down otherwise

417 is fab, so easy and pretty quiet when we used it last year.

We always use the 417, remember it is a toll road and you may need some coins for the unmanned exit tolls
