We really enjoyed Tusker House at lunchtime, was a great selection of African inspired food with vegetarian options. The characters were Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy and we had great interactions. Mickey had all the kids up dancing around the restaurant and it was amazing to see kids from 2 up to teenagers forgetting their inhibitions and dancing around with him.

I’d vote Tusker House for characters. The food was great. Loads of choice and something for all tastes. Had great interaction with the characters here too. not done any non-character buffets.

Another vote for TH breakfast at AK we were 4 adults and had so much fun with the character's and the food was really good.
Non character dinner at cape Mays was great lots of choice, and im mainly veggie and don't eat sea food.

I really want to try 1900 park fare on the next trip as it does get a lot of great recommendations

Love Crystal Palace in MK for character buffet and Boma at AKL for non character. Excited to be going back to these plus Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare this year - it's been a while but I remember them both very fondly!

My vote goes to lunch at Tusker House. I had a lovely lunch there last year. The food was delicious and the character interaction was great fun. Goofy took a liking to me - wouldn't let me go when he hugged me!

For character buffets we like Tusker House breakfast. We also do Garden Grill but not specifically buffet but is all you care to eat.

For non-character we liked Trails End - very reasonable as well if paying for it.

This year we’re on the Dining Plan for the 1st time so are trying Chef Mickey’s for dinner, 1900 Park Fare dinner and Crystal Palace dinner (as well as breakfast at TH and GG).
