Our car was bumped 4 weeks ago and now the same car is parking outside our house

4 weeks ago our car was bumped into the back of leaving a local supermarket when I got out they drove off, DH followed them so he could get the car registration number took a picture of the car. As there was no damage to our car it was not classed as driving offence. The car was not taxed on the DVLC site but DH is now getting worked up as the same car and same woman as just parked outside our house and gone in next door. I have said leave it as he wants to have it out with her, but have called 101 to report that the car is still being driven without tax and just leave it to them, we have had problems with the neighbour over the last 2 years as last summer our car was vandalised one evening we heard there door opening and less than one minute later the car window smashing but it was dark. He is sat here with his blood pressure raising saying that the bump in the car park was not an accident but targeted at us.

For me I think it is just one of those things as the cars bright pink and we have lived here 4 years never seen it until 4 weeks ago in the supermarket and it's never been parked outside the house before and told him to put the television on and watch football to take his mind off it not sure anything else we can do about it.

After summer we had no choice but to have CTV cameras fitted front and back to protect the car which is now always parked in the back now, and to stop rubbish being throw over the wall into our back as Molly our dog came in with fish hooks in her mouth which luckily she did not swallow or got catch in her mouth, or bottles throw over hitting our granddaughter on the head, and at least I no longer have to pick up there drug smoking habit which was also throw over by there son and his friends response is there is nothing you can do about it we can do what we like all that as stopped.

Hopefully DH blood pressure will drop but not sure watching the football will help. I have said to leave it 101 to sort out.

Sorry you have such horrid neighbours! I would leave it. It will not achieve anything and may just cause more bad feeling.

So I assume it wasn't the neighbour who caught your car.
And this person has just coincidentally turned up a few weeks later after never seeing before.
For me a deep breath and shrug it off after no damage happened and the law therefore says not an accident no need to report etc.
If they wish to drive without tax they do so along with approximately 120 000 that are clamped yearly they just choose to take the chance.
No need to stress.
