QSDP- Can you upgrade part of your group?
Hi all!
I'm planning for our second time to Disney next May. Our previous experience was on the DDP rather than the QSDP, which was brilliant, but we all very much over ate! (I very much enjoyed it though... ) We are a family of 4, me, DW, DD 11 and DS 12 (the kids have small, fairly bland appetites- A lot of chicken nuggets were consumed last time, leading to DS being crowned by us as Chicken Nugget King of 2017) We are planning to do some TS dining, as we enjoyed it so much last time, but maybe on only 7 out of the 14 days. So... Is it possible we could upgrade just 2 of our 4 QSDP? This would give us 28 TS credits and would work perfectly! |

I don’t believe so - not if you’re all in one room / same booking? But someone more knowledgeable will come along and tell you the exact criteria I’m sure!

Unfortunately not. You have to upgrade everyone in your room for the entire stay. You're looking at £952 to upgrade, which is approx $1220, so you could just use that for any TS meals if you don't want one every day.

loves2plan is right - as usual! You have to purchase the same plan for all people in your room.

Thankyou for that! The debate currently raging in our house (Dumbomum is my DW!), is whether we would get all the TS meals we want for that extra £952! I mean, there are sooooo many good ones to choose from!

One of the dining plan calculators might be helpful to give you an idea of the cost paying oop vs the dining plan: distripplanner
If you want to do about 7, then it probably will work out better to upgrade. However, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to use the other 7 for QS meals.
