Delta connecting flight booked with VA

Hi
I’ve got connecting flights from MCO to BOS with Delta booked through Virgin but I cannot select the seat for that part of the journey with Virgin.

Does anyone know if I can book these seats online with Delta or if I have to phone? Online it just says to contact the carrier.

You should be able to go onto the delta website with booking ref and book your seats

Contact Virgin to get your Delta's booking reference. You should be then able to book the seats on the delta sectors without any issue.

I went on to the delta website and put in my virgin booking ref number. It took me into my booking and I was able to book my seats for the delta legs.

Just put your booking reference in on deltas website and it should work.
