Universal Dining Plan
Anyone done this ? Is it worth it?
We are staying for 6 nights in August and thinking of doing this for the 3 nights that we are in RPR, we have club level, the other 3 we are in Surfside Inn and are going to eat offsite(we’ve never eaten offsite!) Thanks Sarah |

I considered it but it’s quite restrictive compared to Disney dining. I’ve pre ordered the coke freestyle cups for our trip and will just pay as we go & Panda Express is going to take a bash (another reason not to get the dining plan as it’s not included!)
There are so many options in city walk and I don’t find the QS that expensive in universal so personally for us it’s not worth it!

We discovered Panda Express for the first time this year!
Delicious and reasonably priced too! Now I know there's one at City Walk I know where I will be eating when we do Universal next! Not had the dining plan at Universal before, but we've just eaten at various places in the parks and at City Walk as and when we've been hungry. We have looked at it a few times and decided against it each time we've looked and dismissed as not worth it. I do like to take advantage of a dining plan option if I think it's worth it, for example the Seaworld dining plan is very much worth the money I always think.

It's way more flexible than the ddp. Different party members can be on differing plans on the same booking not forced to all or nothing like on the ddp. And you can dip in and out on a ad hoc daily basis if that's what suits.

We used it on our first day as we intended to buy the refillable Coke mugs. We thought that option was really good .
