Absolutely! Especially with young kids. We did 14nights just Disney in 2016 and will do the same this year. Even with 14 nights, we’re still struggling to fit everything in!

Thanks so much. A few people who I’ve talked to are incredulous that we aren’t doing Universal but it’s SUCH a lot of money. We love Harry Potter but think we will save it til the kids are older (if we ever manage to save up to go again!)

We have been 3 times, twice just Disney and once just Universal. I think 2 lots of tickets are so expensive plus it would be very hectic to do two lots of parks I feel. We are considering Disney and Universal for a future visit but definitely one lot of tickets are enough for a first time.

Your children are very young too, and would find quite a few rides too big for them yet, so I would wait a couple of years. Good excuse for a return trip 😀

We're just doing Disney again this year. Always just stay onsite and enjoy all the benefits of that.
Bit like the McDonald's advert - I like getting my money's worth!

I think that we have been lucky enough to do ‘just Disney’. It is truly magical and we loved it several years running until the boys were older 😁

Are these people that have never actually priced up the tickets!? We did a split stay this year but on other years I have decided one or the other. Even just for two of us it is stupid amounts of money for tickets for both and they go barely used (e.g. we used our 14 day Disney tickets for 6 days this tear).

We have done just Disney 3 times in the past, 2 holidays were 14 days and the last one was 16! It still wasn't enough. We've only ever done either or...Disney only or no Disney at all where we had tickets for the Sea World and universal parks.

This summer is the first time we will be doing both Disney and universal in the same holiday.

If I were you I'd ignore the people who are criticizing your choices and plan the holiday that you know will be best for your family. I hope you have a fab time.

Our past 2 holidays have been just Disney with a few smaller things thrown in like Wild Florida, Wonderworks (thanks to free tickets), the Orlando Eye, Tussauds and Sea life, Escapology and Revolution Off Road. We didn't book any of them as we felt we needed a break from Disney, but rather because we got such good deals on tickets, that it would have been rude not to We're more than happy to spend two weeks there and find that there's plenty to occupy us. Our October trip will be just Disney apart from 1 night at US for HHN, but we're not actually doing US/IOA, and an afternoon to visit the character warehouse and try the zombie escape experience

Our past 5 holidays we have done just Disney. I’ve never wanted to visit sea world and I’m not sure about Bush Gardens. We visited universal on our second trip and enjoyed it but have no desire to return.
We spend time at the pool, in the malls, sometimes go to the beach and spend time at Disney parks but never all day.

Yes, and we loved it! On our first trip our kids were a similar age to yours (6 & 7) and we toyed with the idea of universal but when we looked at the height restrictions we decided it just wasn't going to be good value for money. So pleased we stuck with just Disney - you'll have a fabulous time !
