Falcon Heavy Launch info April 11 from KSC

The date of 7 April has been shared on several websites - and if you go to book a viewing package via the Kennedy Space Center website the date selected is also 7 April (even though the official launch diary on the website still states TBD)

Important for those wishing to either commit to this - or avoid an unexpected busy day:

Day entrance will be minimum $75 advance bookings only and blacked out to deals/ standard tickets and passholders.

Tickets can only be shipped to a USA address as it also includes a car park permit ( i have emailed the fairytale personal shopper and they can take delivery for $20 and deliver to your sccommodation).

Also the packages are for the Falcon Heavy launch regardless of date changes - so there is a chance you may not see it within your holiday time frame.

Dates can slip so if you are interested prepare to be flexible.

So excited haven't told our space mad DS12 yet in case the dates slip outside of our holiday.

We are planning to watch from Jetty Park/ Cape Canaveral.

"It is expected that this Sunday the rocket will leave its hangar and be transported to the launch platform 39 at the Kennedy Space Center. The next day, the static fire test will be performed, where its 27 Merlin 1 D engines will be lit for a few seconds... to prove that nothing fails on the date of the launch."

Do you know roughly what time they’re estimating, I thought I seen something saying it was the evening but can’t find that now!
From what the weather news is saying over here at the moment is today and tomorrow really nice but Monday Tuesday change of rain and storms!

The window is currently 6.30pm-8.30pm local time - though they are keeping a close eye on the weather.
