He's nearly 14 now, he's slowing down bless him and has been for a while, likes to spend most of his time sleeping these days, they did say his heartbeat was nice and strong though which we took as encouraging x

Fingers crossed things go ok Tuesday and its not at bad as they think

shocking that the insurance won't cover it because he's had it more than a year does he have lifetime cover?
We e paid into his policy since we got him as a pup and never claimed a penny, he had colitis as a pup and we declared that on his policy and sods law he's been fine since anyway lol, when he first had the lump and had investigations I rang insurance for a claims form but we never claimed a penny back because we never acted on them and it was only just over excess anyway but talking to them today that was a time limited condition, aparantly as he got older his policy changed... Which I hadn't taken much notice of... Expensive mistake 😳

So sorry about your doggy, I didn’t know policy’s changed as the dog got older. I hope the surgery goes well and you have him for longer x

Neither did I, but I didn't take notice, not sure if I changed it or they did? Just filed the email so I'm gonna read through them later as I have all the pet insurance ones in a folder on ipad somewhere. I'll put money on it being my fault... Luckily OH isn't giving me earache 🙄

Thanks Louise, I hope so too, we are feeling incredibly guilty we didn't have it removed earlier but we were also led by fact vets said it didn't seem to be bothering him which it doesn't and fact he's always been same as he always has been just slower now... But he's an old boy and allowed to take it easy xx
