Mobile 14 years since last in Orlando.

I've heard the 192 Irlo Bronson Highway around the bottom of International Drive has deteriorated over the years. Is this true ?

Location: The South West.
We stayed at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake, was a fantastic stay and didn't feel that the surrounding area was deteriorated at all.

However this was our visit visit to that area/192 and ultimately I'm a little unsure of exactly what part of 192 you mean.

I agree with this.

I've also never been a fan of international drive, but I know a lot of people do love it.

Take a look and follow the road via Google maps for a recent-ish view of what it looks like today - we've rarely ventured that far down the end of I-drive

Below Sand Lake on I Drive is fine now and really nice in places.

North is not good but the building of the new universal hotel will change things. I imagine in 10 years all the area between the hotel and Sand Lake will be redeveloped.

The main issue with that part of 192 is that a lot more modern hotels have popped up so these hotels / motels have got cheaper and cheaper but also become rougher.

I don't have an issue with the 192 but there are better places to stay now than 14 years ago.

Stayed a couple of times there years ago and top of International Drive but since the Convention Centre opening stayed at LBV. Was just wondering if the only place worth going was the Walmart SuperC on the 192. Saw a YouTube Video and it seemed like a lot of hotels shops and restaurants were closed and derelict now.
