Whose experienced with an Acti-Fry?
So after literally years of pestering from DH I’ve caved in and bought an Acti-Fry. It’s the Tefal 1kg one. Interested to hear what people cook in them and how good (or not) you find them. I’m hoping it’s not a fail purchase as it’s so darn big!

We don't have an Actifry but we do have an Airfryer which is similar. We mainly just cook chips/wedges and roast veg in it but recently we've discovered that it makes the perfect boiled eggs! We put them in for 15mins at 130c and they come out perfectly. It's so much easier than boiling up a pan of water, especially as we don't have a kitchen at the moment due to renovations!

I have an air fryer and it does chips, baked potatoes very well. I’ve also cooked sausages and chicken in there successfully as well. Basically anything dry you would put in the oven work well.
I’m going to try homemade curly fries this week as I’ve just bought a spiraliser |

Love our actifry but admit to only doing chips/wedges or sausages in it occasionally I stick carrots in too.

I have an airfryer and really can not get the hang of mine and after multiple failed attempts at chips it has been resigned to the cupboard really should give it another go as I'm sure it will be really useful if I can figure out how to use it properly

So chips it is! I suspected it was an expensive chip pan!

We make risotto, bolognese, chilli, chips, roasties, chicken drumsticks are lovely in there. There are recipe books to give you ideas of what you can cook in there. We use ours nearly every day- love it
