DCL confused credit card help

Hi all,
I have booked our cruise for this summer. Sssh it’s a secret. Booked and paid for it last year but I’ve had some money put back on to my credit card. Bit confused. Any ideas?

Is it a relatively small amount?. Don't take this as gospel but I do seem to remember having a small amount refunded a few years ago when we had booked a Disney Cruise well in advance and I think it had something to do with a change in taxes/port fees between when we booked and final payment being made.

Yes, me too. I had about £40 or so refunded due to changes in port fees/taxes. Nice little surprise 👍

Yes, if it's a small amount it will likely be a reduction in taxes/port fees. Happens relatively often, especially on cruises with more stops.

We’ve had that happen. Nice to find out why though
