I saw this too, who knew you could save the planet by holding a rave...

Unless your airport, transport is affected and your holiday cancelled!

Time to get tough on these loons.
They are not loons. Climate change is a serious problem which is not being tackled fast enough.

I think that if they care so much then they have a choice:

1 - Scream and shout that somebody else should fix it (and disrupt everybody else in the process)
2 - Actually do something about it. Go to university. Learn science. Create solutions to the problems.

But I guess #2 would involve work.

That’s true and I imagine everyone agrees but how is holding up the 15:20 407 going to change anything?

Exactly they’re inconveniencing ordinary people who just want to go to work.

Most people have sympathy for the cause just not the way they’re going about it. I’m not flying this weekend but if they disrupt the airports I really feel for people trying to go on holiday.

Nope sorry

Climate change is serious, very serious so let’s target Parliament no, let’s target the very people, working classes, people like everyone on this forum who fly away every year on holiday, let’s target the elderly who can’t walk everywhere around London and need busses and tubes... brilliant idea, let’s alienate the very people we need onside, let’s disrupt public transport and demand totally unrealistic demands and then say, it’s not our intention to disrupt, really , then what’s the point?

As Adam Bolton on sky said yesterday, over indulgent middle classes who have the time and money to disrupt those that don’t have time or the money when the bloody political elite are away on holiday , really bright idea

Want to protest against government, then do so in parliament square, disrupt the people who make the decisions.

I’m due to travel in 12 days... if they continue I may not get to the airport who knows, but that’s okay because it’s not them or those who think they’re doing the right thing who lose thier holiday , two years of saving for what... there’s protest and then there is self indulgence

They are protesting in a country and city which is one of the greenest in the world.

Maybe they should really be protesting in the likes of China, in one of the world biggest polluters cities... saying that they would have to walk there.

For those they have arrested, they should invoice them for the disruption they have caused, lets call its a carbon impact offset fine.
