We've stayed in all 3 and my order of preference would be BLT, Poly then GF. You just can't beat the walk into MK from BLT and getting in the lift to go back to your room after watching the fireworks from the Top of the World Lounge is a huge bonus. I've never noticed the studio's to feel small, there's plenty of storage so as long as you put everything away you'll be fine. The Poly studios are bigger but I found storage an issue there and had to use the drawers in the 2 bathrooms which was a bit of a pain. I'd go for it while the boys are small and you can get away with a studio, you can always do the 1 bed at boardwalk on another trip.

I adore all three, but of you're there for the view? Nothing beats a lake view at the Poly:

both the GF and Poly studios are a great size and have the pull down single / sofa bed for extra sleeping options. The storage is better in BLT however.

We haven't stayed at Boardwalk since 2014 and I know they have recently been refurbed, but the rooms there are fabulous and the resort is lovely. Your only problem is whittling down some rather fab choices!

Can I ask, is the poly noisy with all the ferry boats tooting?

Not really - we could hear them when we were on the balcony, but not when we had the doors closed and we were in the room. We were quite close to TTA too (thats my favourite bonus of staying at the Poly DVC wings - short walk to TTA for the monorail to Epcot/ express monorail to MK).

We’ve stayed in all three (in studios) and love all three.

We are a family of four and regularly stay in BLT studios (it’s one of our home resorts) and have no problem at all. Whilst I know on paper it’s very small, I agree with Marlouwrig about the layout - we find it much more spacious and never have any trouble with luggage room etc, but then we do enjoy all bunking in together on holiday - it’s part of the adventure for us, as we spend so little quality time together at home since the boys have got older, that we actually enjoy sharing and We don’t find BLT studios a problem at all.

As for which of the three I prefer - I love all of them (probably VGF wins for design - I love the fountain in the lobby, Poly for facilities - we love Ohana, the pools, access to the Epcot monorail, but number one (which for me tops the lot), is the location of BLT - MK is easily my favourite park & as Tinktatoo says, the bonus of being able to walk to & from it just beats everything else for me - especially after fireworks when you see the queues for the boat/monorail and you know you can be in bed before everyone else even gets through the queue!)

Stayed in all three several times expect Poly which was just the once - 1BR at BLT, Studio & 1BR at VGF and Studio at Poly.

I usually get torn between BLT (but only the 1BR MK view) and 1BR at VGF. Our most consistent choice is VGF and suspect that wont change. Not a fan of the Poly (which surprised us).

We own at VGF so are quite bias and love it there, not sure what time of year you are thinking of going and for how long, but the chances of getting a Studio at VGF at 7 months out are pretty slim, in fact 1 beds were hard to get at 7 months out for this October.
