A very English question!

We are going September this year and was wondering whether we can take a travel kettle and teabags over with us? Or is it easier to take tea bags and buy a kettle there?

We are staying at CBR for two weeks.

Thank you!

Happy Easter

😂 how quaint we are, personally, just but one at Wal-Mart over there and leave it, saves on the space in the case.

Ok I see this as two questions and will do my best to answer

You can take the travel kettle but remember you will need an adapter for the UK plug (assuming that is what the kettle is fitted with. I'm not sure if a travel kettle will take longer to boil due to the lower voltage in the USA

Now for the tea bags. Yes you can take them but declare them. I work on the principle that if you eat it or drink it you should declare it. The CBP office may say you didn't need to but I feel I would rather have declared them than not .

Enjoy your trip !

Always take my travel kettle and Yorkshire tea every holiday we go on. Have to have that first cup of tea immediately on waking up !

Always take t-bags.
We stay in a villa so no need to take kettle
My DH would be a grumpy so and so without his tea.

We stayed at CBR last year. Presumed tea bags and all would be there. No such luck So we went to Walmart and got tea bags. OH said would use the coffee maker but without the pods to just get boiled water.. bad idea really because we ended up with a cup of tea with a hint of coffee. Won't make that mistake again!

We take Scottish blend tea bags

It seems to match the type of water in Orlando
Tied PG and Typhoo and Yorkshire in the past. Yorkshire came close but not quite. Maybe try a small pack before you go.

We don’t need a kettle as we stay in a Villa but if I needed one I’d buy there. Travel kettles are normally small and take an age to boil

We take a kettle we bought in Walmart first visit and decaf tea bags . Tea is a drink and not food so I only declare if asked but got the same reply it’s not food.

Try buying a travel kettle that has dual voltage, one with a switch which you can change from 240 to 110 they boil at normal speed.
