The Americans keep away in August/September because of the heat/rain/storms. The last two weeks of August is usually Brits only ( certainly feels that way)

We are here now, 2nd time at Easter love April, weather great. May half term was also good but now only get a week school holiday now daughter in high school, in 2016 weather was quite wet in May. Have also been end July. We’ve done three weeks arrived 4th April we thought was really quiet up until Good Friday, Epcot was really busy but we planned a ‘character day’ and did 13 in total no queues. You can plan a pool day/rest/shopping days on Easter weekend. We are currently at AK feels busy but in queue for Na’vi river 70 min wait which I think is good. I could only get a FP for our last night (Monday) so decided queue while here now.

We go at Easter normally, i always find that it totally depends when easter falls to how busy it is.
One year it was early so coincided with lots of spring break so was manic. A couple of years later it was around this time and second week was quiet and we got on lots without huge queues.

I have never been in August though so cant compare

We have been here 2 weeks already and although I’d heard about the horrendous crowds at Easter it wasn’t as bad as I had imagined. We have ridden everything we wanted, sometimes twice, and don’t think we waited more than 20 minutes tops in any fast pass line including flight of passage, SDMT and Splash Mountain. Even slinky dog fast pass this past Wednesday afternoon was only a 10 minute wait for us.

Having been twice in September I think the weather at Easter is brill so not sure if I’d go summer again.

Humidity is a killer for me...I’m fat and my hair is curly, bad combo lol so that is a big consideration for me (no pun intended!)

Have been both at Easter and end of August. Much prefer August just for the crowd levels. I am generally not good in heat but you get used to it very quickly. Easter is just too busy especially if it falls near Spring Break time. This year Easter has been very late and so crowds have not been as bad (still pretty bad looking at wait times) but not as mad as it can be. My wife is a teacher and so we have no choice but to go in holidays, August for us at the moment as it is so much more relaxing without the hoards of people.

Easter is busy as we found but as schools around the country have slightly variant school hols fo Easter, it can depend on when in you holidays the eater weekend falls. When we last went Easter was first weekend of holiday and yes busy but, by the time we started our 2nd week of the holiday the crowds really died down.
