You will be fine. We did 16 nights last year which was meant to be without disney.
We ended up adding in one night at Disney and did the after hours event but without this we’d have been fine. We ended up not going to aquatica or Busch gardens but spent a good bit of time at SeaWorld and universal. We also did an Orlando City game. We never drive over there. We are just back from a 9 night trip to universal and again did one day/night at magic kingdom and stayed onsite to do emh till 2am. Again without that we’d still have not been bored. Have you considered a Discovery Cove ultimate non swim. Ours for this August is £160.. and you get..
1. The day in DC with all food, drinks, snacks etc free. If you eat a meal late, then yo may not need another one that day. 2-The day in an amazing park. 3- 14 days Seaworld , Busch and Aquatica. 4- Free parking at all of the above. I firmly believe that this is the very best park deal in Florida and with some truly awesome, large, 54inch rides. In 9 visits, we have purchased this ticket on 8 of them. It is the only ticket that we consider a ‘must buy’.

As you are going August you may catch magical dining month. We didn’t get sea world tickets but if you ate at sharks under water grill ($35 set meal) you could stay in the park for free. We ate at 3pm and stayed until closing at 9.30pm. Review in my 2018 trip report above was second to last day.

The Cabana Bay Volcano Bay entrance is excellent. We spent many mornings there during our 14 nights at Cabana Bay last year. We only did two days at Disney during that trip, so if you take those off we did 12 nights of just Universal and the Seaworld Parks. I think you’ll have a great time 😊

We’ve just got back from 14 nights at cabana bay ( we did Disney and universal) and I’m blooming exhausted! The thought of 11 nights, universal only, plenty of days hanging around cabana bay and volcano bay and taking it all at a more chilled pace sounds divine.
